How much was spent on the construction of the Titanic?
The famous Titanic was built in 1912 and cost $ 7,5 million to build at the time. At present, the value is more than $ 170 million.
This ship should initially include 48 boats by design (for use during a wreck). But the shipowner decided to change the look of the ship, and the number of these boats was reduced to 20.
Interestingly, about $ 1997 million was spent on the popular 200 film "Titanic" about this ship.
