This variety is one of the most productive early ripening varieties. Originated in China. Lemon is one of the most common subtropical plants and grows well at home. It is short, compactly branched, and at the age of 10 it grows up to 1.8-2.0 meters tall. The branches are up to 2 m wide, the diameter of the stem is 8-9 cm in medium width, well-leafed and sparsely thorny. 1-year-old branches are dark green, medium-long, slender, angular at the end and well-leafed. The leaves are dark green, thick and vigorous, moderately enlarged, oval, slender at the tip, flat, slightly curved. The edges of Meyer's lemon leaves are more serrated than ordinary lemons.

The flowers are medium-sized, white, very fragrant, in a ball.
The average weight of fruits is 70-75 g, large fruits - up to 200 g. Round oval in shape, thinning at the tip. In some cases, the fruit changes shape, with a very long neck. The surface of the fruit is smooth, shiny, yellowish at the beginning of the ripening phase and reddish-yellow at the stage of full ripening. The skin is very thin and easily separated from the core.
The core is reddish-yellow, very tender, juicy, delicious, sour.
Lemons are less demanding to growing conditions, grow well in soils with moderate to light nutrient requirements, produce very high yields, the branches bend due to excessive fruit set, the fruits are crushed, and the quality decreases. Therefore, a left-handedness is observed. Given these characteristics, this variety requires high agro-technical measures. Every year it is necessary to make a light bush, the flowers are also unique. Meyer variety ended up blooming fruit throughout the year in good conditions.
Lemons are grown in Uzbekistan in the trenches. The flowering phase is observed in late April to early May.
The variety is self-pollinating. Trees go into harvest early. From 2 years the yield will continue to increase. When grown in the trenches, a 4-5 year old tree produces an average of 50-70 lemons, while a 9-10 year old tree produces 120-150 fruits. Fruit ripening occurs in late October - early November.
The ripening of the fruit is not the same on the tree, so the harvest is carried out 2-3 times. The preservation and transportability of the fruits are satisfactory. It tastes good, sour and fragrant. It contains an average sugar content of 3.2-3.5%, acidity 2.5-4.0%, vitamin C 30-35 mg /%. In the trenches, lemons of the Meyer variety can be grown in all regions of Uzbekistan.
