Many believe that the smartphone needs to be fully charged. In fact, it only hurts. This concept was rightly considered 15 years ago when nickel batteries were installed in electronics. Now they have been replaced by lithium-ion batteries, which work completely differently.
1. Charged - turned off
Usually, we charge our smartphones at night before going to bed and leave them until morning. The batteries of most devices will be fully charged after 3 hours. The remaining charge until the morning will saturate the gadget without sacrificing 100 percent power. This keeps the phone in a state of "stress", quickly reducing its maximum capacity.

2. Do not chase after 100 percent charge
It is also not advisable to charge lithium-ion batteries 100 percent without good reason. "It is best not to fully charge the battery to avoid the negative effects of high pressure," experts say.
3. Support whenever possible
The battery needs to be charged several times during the day for long service life. This can be done along the way using a car charger.
For example, when 100 percent charged, a lithium-ion battery takes only 500 power cycles. At 50 percent power, the service life increases by one and a half thousand cycles.
4. Control the temperature
External weather also affects battery performance. In the heat, the battery quickly goes into a state of stress. It can also lose power and fail.
Therefore, in the summer it is desirable that the smartphone was stored in the shade.
In winter, however, care must be taken not to leave it in a cold place. Carrying the phone in an outer pocket in cold weather is harmful.
