Mamarasul Boboev (1911-1969)

Talented poet Mamarasul Boboev in his works sang real reality, human beauty and tried to create a bright image of people. Mamarasul Boboev was born on April 1911, 3 in Kattakurgan, Samarkand region. He received his primary education at a school named after Navoi. In the fall of 1927, the poet entered the Agricultural College in Bukhara.

In 1934-1938 Mamarasul Boboev graduated from the correspondence department of the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Language and Literature. In 1939, his historical epic "Ulugbek" was published in the magazine "Guliston". He fought in World War II from 1941 to 1946 and served in Iran.

Mamarasul Boboev's "In Honor of the Motherland" (1939), "Joy" (1950), "Sunshine" (1951), "My Favorite Songs" (1956), "Father's Joy" (1959), "Ring, Rubab" (1961), He is the author of a number of poetry collections, such as "Same Summer" (1961), "What My Heart Said" (1963).

The works of such poets as Lermontov, Nekrasov, Simonov, Vurgun, Kuliev, Musa Jalil, Tumanyan, Rasul Khamzatov, translated by Mamarasul Boboev, went to Uzbek readers. His series of poems "Under the Iranian Sky" is one of the best works on the theme of foreign Orient.

He died on July 1969, 23 in Tashkent.
