Kivano. The original homeland of the unusual fruit, which has an exotic appearance, is Central and South Africa. Although its official name is Cucumis metuliferus, locals call Kivano the Royal Melon. The outer surface of the ripe fruit turns bright yellow, covered with small branches. The taste of Kivano is reminiscent of cucumber and banana.
