Traditional lesson — is an educational model designed for a certain period, the educational process is more focused on the teacher, it consists of the stages of introduction, clarification, strengthening and completion of the topic. When the educational material is new and more complex, the traditional lesson remains one of the methods of the educational process in many cases.
It is known that in a traditional lesson, the teacher is at the center of the educational process. Therefore, sometimes the traditional lesson is called a teacher-centered teaching method.
In the traditional teaching model, methods such as lectures, questions and answers, and practical exercises are used more. For this reason, in these cases, the effectiveness of traditional lessons is much lower, and students become passive participants in the educational process.
The stages of training in a traditional lesson can be planned as follows.
  1. Enter. Repetition of the passed material; explain the purpose of the lesson; introducing the topic of the new lesson and the lesson plan.
  2. New topic coverage. Divide the new topic into small pieces; color - presentation of various examples as much as possible; do not deviate from the topic; re-explain complex aspects of the material; to check the level of students' understanding; providing feedback.
  3. Theta-stem exercise. Step-by-step solution and analysis of an example (or problem) with students:
  4. Guided exercise. Students perform the exercise (or problem) independently, and the teacher controls them and makes corrections.
  5. Independent exercise. Students perform the exercise independently without the teacher's help.
  6. Checking the students' level of understanding. Ask control questions and determine the level of mastery of the subject.
  7. Completion.  Summarize the main concepts of the lesson topic and educational goals.
It can be seen that in a traditional lesson, all stages of the lesson are carried out step by step and there are no unusual things. This ensures the student's lack of enthusiasm for the lesson and the uniformity of the lesson. However, traditional education has its own positive and negative characteristics. Because, aTraditional education methods are as follows advantages has:
  • Having certain skills and being useful in learning certain concepts and science. This is the fact that the principle of scientificity is applied in traditional education and systematic knowledge is formed in the student.
  • The high level of control of the teaching process and the teaching environment by the teacher represents the educational character of education. Although the students participate slowly in this, they show high discipline examples during the lesson.
  • As a result of effective use of time, all training stages are fully implemented and time distribution is consistently demonstrated.
There are many traditional methods of education today  disadvantagesga and this creates the need to use non-traditional educational methods in the educational process. These disadvantages are as follows.
  • Pupils remain passive participants, the presence of the teacher in the center of the lesson and in the main management role leads to such passivity.
  • Full control of the teacher does not create motivation for all students. Because all actions performed by students are based on strict requirements. This does not arouse creative initiative in the student.
  • Students cannot directly communicate with the teacher. Because each stage of the lesson is based on certain rules and these stages take place at the discretion of the teacher, there is no need for different forms of communication.
  • Since the level of recall is not the same for all students, the level of mastery by class may remain low. That is, in traditional education, the failure to use the possibilities of using various methods that interest students in training and cognitive process, as well as game technologies that strengthen memory, causes these consequences.
  • Conditions for independent learning and independent decision-making are not created. The absence of the power to encourage the student to think creatively does not naturally create conditions for the development of new ideas.
Teaching unconventional modelsis conditionally divisible by 3.
These models are mainly focused on the personality of the student, and they are also called student-centered educational models.

Research model of learning — a method that allows students to conduct independent research aimed at solving a specific problem.
Non-traditional (the student is the center of the educational process) teaching methods advantages:
  • It leads to good mastering of the teaching content.
  • Provision of timely communications.
  • Creation of conditions for applying concepts in practice.
  • Offering various types of teaching methods.
  • High level of motivation.
  • Good recall of the material.
  • Improving communication skills.
  • Growth of self-esteem.
  • Students to the content of the subject. positive attitude towards the teaching process.
  • Helping the formation of a student who can think independently.
  • It not only helps to master the content, but also develops critical and logical thinking.
  • Formation of problem solving skills.
The non-traditional teaching methods are as follows to shortcomings has
  • It takes a lot of time to prepare for the training.
  • Lack of ability to always control students properly.
  • The teacher's role is low even when learning very complex material.
  • Due to the fact that there are "weak" students, "strong" students also receive low grades.
  • It is necessary for the teacher to have well-developed thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
Thus, today both traditional and non-traditional teaching models are used in classes. In this case, attention is paid to the nature of the subject, the content of the material to be mastered, the content of educational goals, and aspects of the organization of the control system.
Researches show that while maintaining the traditional form of the lesson, enriching it with various methods that activate the activity of district students leads to an increase in the level of students' mastery.
For this purpose, the lesson process should be organized rationally, the teacher should increase the interest of the students and encourage their activity in the educational process, divide the educational material into small parts, and discuss and discuss their content. , brainstorming, working in small groups, research, use of role-playing methods, presentation of colorful and interesting examples, encouraging students to do practical exercises independently, using colorful and colorful assessment methods, using educational tools on the spot and at the time required.
