What do the symbols in Intel processor names mean?
Currently, processors called computer brains are mainly manufactured by Intel and AMD. Since a large percentage belongs to Intel, I will write down what the last letters (versions) in this processor name mean, for example: Core i3-7100U, Core i5-6300HQ, Core i5-9400F.
These symbols indicate how fast and efficient the processor is
K - this type of processor can be amplified (disable), if the board also has this option, the clock frequency can be increased, I will post a separate post about amplification.
F - The processor itself does not have video graphics.
X - eXtreme is a very expensive processor with a large number of cores.
M - mobile processor, limited capacity.
MX is a fast mobile processor.
S - energy saving processor.
P - processors that do not have a video card, as well as automatic amplifiers.
U - (Ultra low voltage) Processors designed mainly for ultrabooks, very energy efficient (less than 15W).
Q - quad-core processors.
H - mobile processors with a very fast video card.
An ultra-energy-efficient processor for e-ultrabooks.
L - (Low voltage), a power-saving processor that requires power in the range of 15W to 25W.
The T is a smaller frequency, slightly more economical processor from 25 to 55W.
G - Video processor available.
☝️These symbols can also be used together: i7-9700KF
