Omonulla Madayev (1942-2019)

Omonulla Madayev was born on May 1942, 20 in the city of Tashkent. In 1964 he graduated from the philological faculty of Tashkent State University. In 1958 he worked as a teacher of boarding school No. 1 in Tashkent, in 1964 as a teacher of secondary school No. 82 in Tashkent.

He began his career at Tashkent State University in 1966 as a senior assistant at the Department of Uzbek Classical Literature. From 1982 he worked as an associate professor at the Department of Uzbek Classical Literature of Tashkent State University. In 1973 he defended his dissertation on "Peculiarities of Khorezm folk epics."

Teacher Omonulla Madayev is one of the famous scholars who has made a great contribution to the Uzbek school of pedagogy, school of folklore and journalism for many years.

Omonulla Madayev is the author of a number of textbooks on Uzbek folklore, literature and pedagogy. For example, "How to write an essay?" (1989), the textbook "Vatan Adabiyati" for 7th and 9th grades, the textbook "Folk Oral Poetic Creativity" for academic lyceums belong to the pen of the teacher. The scientist is the first pedagogue to organize classes for applicants.

The scientist died on March 2019, 2 at the age of 76.
