Preparation of "Chak - Chak"

This cake, which we all love to eat, is the main decoration of the table, especially during the Eid holidays.
Required ingredients: z bowl of flour, 8 eggs, a pinch of salt, half a teaspoon of baking soda. Syrup: 1 cup honey, half a cup sugar, 4 tablespoons water.
Preparation: first add eggs, salt and baking soda to the bowl and mix well. Then add flour to this mixture, knead a soft dough and let it rest for 15 minutes. Then the dough is spread, cut into strips of 5-6 cm and cut into 1 cm wide. The cut dough is fried in oil.
To prepare the jam of "Chak-chak" in a mysterious bowl add honey, sugar and water and cook over low heat. Then place the jam on top of the cake, mix well and press the top of the cake tightly. The finished "chak-chak" is put in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Depending on the taste, you can decorate the area around the cake with nuts and raisins.
