The waterfall in South America is located 26 km above the confluence of the Iguazu River with the Paraná River. It consists of more than 275 large and small waterfalls, separated by islands from two steep basalt stairs, and falls from a height of 72 m into a narrow gorge. Its width is up to 4000 meters. A national park belonging to Argentina and Brazil was established around Iguazu. Tourism is developed.
