In what cases it is not possible to apply a hot compress?
✅ Applying a cold or hot compress to the painful area is one of the most effective ways to relieve pain. However, in some cases it is not possible to apply hot compresses.
▪️Bleeding;
▪️ Acute inflammatory processes of the abdominal cavity (appendicitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis);
▪️It is not possible to heat the painful area in the first hours and 1-2 days after injuries and trauma.
☑️ It is also forbidden to use hot compresses in cancer.
