Isroil Mirzaev (1938-2006)

Isroil Mirzaev, a well-known literary scholar, doctor of philological sciences, professor of Samarkand State University, member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, was born on January 1938, 8 in the village of Poloti, Kasan district, Kashkadarya region.

In 1960 he graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Samarkand State University named after Alisher Navoi. From 1960 to 1965 he worked as a literary worker and head of the department of the Samarkand regional newspaper. In 1966-1970 he studied at the graduate school of Samarkand State University. After that he devoted his whole life to scientific and pedagogical activity as a teacher, senior lecturer, vice-rector and professor of this university.

Isroil Mirzaev's first book, a literary portrait of Rahmat Fayzi, was published in 1970. Since then, during his fruitful scientific activity, the scientist has published a number of works, including "Creative Happiness", "Labor Honors Man", "Artistic Study of Reality", "Creative Duty", "Literature and the Pain of Time", "Artistic World of Prose", "Literature and Nature". published more than a dozen books.

Isroil Mirzaev was awarded the Order of Labor Glory in 2002.
