A person who cannot recite the Qunut prayer

ANSWER:

Bismillahir Rohmanir Rohim. Witr is one of the obligatory prayers. According to the Hanafi school, the following famous prayer is recited here:

The reading of this text is as follows:

“Allahumma innaa nastaiynuka and nastagfiruk, and nu'minu bika, and natavakkalu alayka and nusniy alaykal khoyra kullah, nashkuruka valaa nakfuruka and nakhlau and natruku may yafjuruk. Allahumma iyyaaka na'budu, valaka nusolliy and nasjudu, and ilayka nas'aa and nahfidu. Narjuu rohmataka and naxshaa azaabak, inna azaabakal bil-kuffaari mulhiq ”.

Imam Abdur-Razzaq narrated this Qunut prayer from 'Umar in his Musannaf with an authentic narration.

It is not permissible for those who do not know the Qunut prayer to recite Surat al-Ikhlas instead. Because this place is a place of prayer. Surat al-Ikhlas is not a prayer.

Our scholars have said that a person who cannot recite the Qunut prayer can recite it instead, which cannot be asked of people, but only of Allah. The scholar Ibn 'Abidin says:

Wmn lạ yḥsn ạlqnwt yqwl rbnạ ậtnạ fy ạldnyạ ḥsnẗ wqạl ạ̉bw ạllytẖ yqwl ạllhm ạgẖfr ly ykrrhạ tẖlạtẖạ wqyl yạ rb tẖlạtẖạ

That is, “A person who cannot recite the Qunut prayer well recites the prayer“ Robbana otina fid dunya hasana… ”. The jurist Abu Lays said, "Allahu ta'âlâ says three times." Some said, "He says, 'O Lord,' three times." (Raddul Mukhtar) Vallohu a'lam.
