DOES A WOMAN PAY ALIMENT?

I am divorced from my husband and have now come to work abroad. My two minor children were left with my spouse. Recently, a friend of mine gave me alimony. Can a woman be given alimony? Do I have to pay alimony now?
⚡️Answer;
Article 97 of the Family Code stipulates that parents have equal responsibilities in paying alimony and providing for their minor children. Accordingly, if your minor children are in the care of your spouse, then you are obliged to pay them alimony.
✏️ Don’t be surprised by those who hear this now, this norm already exists in our legislation but only because in most cases we have the mother of the minor child, the fathers of the children pay alimony.
