What do you know about the main working tool of ladies in the kitchen - a mixer? In general, what to look for when buying them? First of all, when choosing a mixer, you should pay attention to its type, capacity, speed and accessories. Also, the size of the bowl that comes with the mixer should not be overlooked.

Mixer types. Mixers are usually of two types. The first is simple (manual) mixers. They are popular and affordable. The second is immovable, that is, it is installed and used in one place. Mobile mixers are mainly used in confectionery shops. They are mounted in one place and are designed to foam large quantities of ingredients. If you like to bake regular cakes at home, choose the second type. If you cook on weekends, holidays, we recommend getting the first type.

Speed regulation. Mixers operating at different speeds mainly belong to the second type. This is because hand mixers are more convenient and lightweight. Who would want to carry a heavy mixer in one hand for so long? Of course, the more buttons on the mixer speed control, the better. But notice, is it possible to adjust the buttons with one finger? If this does not bother you at work, then you should buy it.

Motors. The optimum power of a hand mixer motor is 100-300 watts. Portable mixers are more powerful, ie 200-500 watts. If the power is higher, it must have a special button to turn it on and off. If you need to multiply a large amount of ingredients at once, it is better to choose a high-capacity one.

Teeth. The number of teeth of the mixer also determines its price. But don't be fooled by the complementary teeth! If the mixer teeth have an additional measuring cup, a cleaner and a special spatula, the same applies. This will help you in the process. Some mixers can not only foam but also become a light grinder by replacing the teeth. The mixer also has a blade, which acts as a blender, which makes the kitchen more convenient.
