From time immemorial, our ancestors remembered the memory of our ancestors before weddings and celebrations, recited prayers in honor of the deceased, made a feast and made soup. The introduction of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Repression by the First President of Uzbekistan is the most exemplary example of the restoration of historical traditions in a new modern form. It was built at the initiative of the head of state in Yunusabad district of Tashkent. Hundreds of our compatriots from different regions of the country gathered at the Martyrs' Memorial Memorial Complex on the morning of August 31. In accordance with the Decree of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the establishment of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Repression", now "Further beautification of the complex of memory of martyrs. In particular, the names of many victims of repression have been identified, and items belonging to them, as well as materials about their activities, interesting information, photos and other documents are being collected. They are, of course, reminiscent of the tragic fate of our forefathers, who suffered unjustly and were martyred. The Day of Remembrance and Honor commemorates our compatriots who died in the name of national liberation, not only to restore the historical truth, to justify their pure names, but also to instill in the younger generation a sense of respect and devotion to the values ​​of independence.
