Today, August 31, is the day of the establishment of the "Memory of Repression Victims" museum.
🔹 It was established on August 2001, 1 in the "Memorial of Martyrs" memorial complex in the city of Tashkent based on the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On establishing the day of commemoration of the victims of repression" dated May 2002, 31.
🔹 The museum was established in order to literaryize the memory of compatriots who were repressed for their activities and behavior during the year of independence of the country during the Tsarist and Soviet regimes.
🔹 Scientific-thematic exposition of the museum consists of 7 sections:
🔹 The occupation of Turkestan by the Russian Empire in the middle of the 19th century and popular uprisings against it
🔹 Termination of Turkestan autonomy and 20 years of repression
🔹 The company "Kulakzharma" has been in business for 30 years
🔹 30 years of repression
🔹 Repression of 40-50 years
Repression in the 80s.
🔹 Honoring the memory of the victims of repression in independent Uzbekistan.
