What are the requirements for performing Hajj?

At a briefing at AOKA (https://www.facebook.com/aoka.uz/videos/816582149730315/) the head of the information service of the Committee on Religious Affairs Ilhom Marupov announced this information.

1️⃣ The age limit for participation in the Hajj-2022 season is set at 65 years. This age limit includes people born after June 1957, 30.

❗️This age limit is a strict requirement of Saudi Arabia, not Uzbekistan.

2️⃣ Prospective pilgrims must have received the full dose of Pfizer / BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines approved by the World Health Organization;

3️⃣All visitors must have received the 4-valent vaccine against meningitis;

4️⃣ 72 hours prior to entry to Saudi Arabia, a negative PCR certificate of coronavirus diagnosis must be provided.

📆 Uzbek pilgrims will be on a pilgrimage on June 18-30 this year on the routes Tashkent-Madina, Bukhara-Madina, Namangan-Madina, Samarkand-Madina, Karshi-Madina, Urgench-Madina, Nukus-Madina. will return in the same directions July 14-31.
