Khalid Said Khojayev

Khalid Said Khojayev was born in 1888 in the village of Baitkurgan in Tashkent. Khojayev is an Uzbek and Azerbaijani linguist.

Khalid Said Khojayev translated the novels "Past Days" and "Choliqushi" into Azerbaijani. He is the person who first translated the work "Devonu Lugotit Turk" from Arabic into Azerbaijani.

Khalid Said was arrested in 1937 and shot dead on October 12 of the same year. On April 1955, 16, after Stalin's death, Khalid Saeed's wife, Rosa, asked law enforcement officials and political figures to reconsider her husband's case. According to the decision of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on May 1957, 16, Khalid Said was fully acquitted.
