Both brakes use the most important brake component, which is made of organic, semi-metallic, ceramic material that wears down over time depending on how effectively the car needs to brake, called the pad. The mechanism that starts the braking process by pushing this cable towards the disk is called the brake master cylinder, and these cylinders are available for all wheels. But outside the wheels, that is, near the brake pedal, there is also the main cylinder, which is used to convert the pressure from the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure and direct it to the wheels.
