Rating of the largest banks in the world

The British magazine The Banker has published a rating of the 1000 largest banks in the world.

It is noted that their joint:
- capital - $ 9,9 trillion;
- assets - $ 148,6 trillion.

China's 144 banks are ranked among the world's 1000 largest banks with a combined capital of $ 2,96 trillion. That's almost double the U.S. ($ 178 trillion), which has 1,58 banks in the rankings.

The first four places in the ranking belong to ICBC, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China and Bank of China.

In fifth and sixth place are JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America, and in seventh place is another U.S. bank, Citigroup.

Britain’s HSBC Bank was eighth, U.S. Wells Fargo Bank was ninth and Japan’s Mitsubishi UFJ Group Bank was tenth.
