The largest fountain in the world
The Palm Fountain Fountain is located in the coastal area of Dubai’s Palma Jumayra Island. In the United Arab Emirates, this attraction covers an area of 1,3 square meters and is included in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest fountain in history. Its opening ceremony was broadcast live around the world. The fountain rises to a height of 105 meters, the facility is equipped with 128 powerful pumps.
“This fountain was another milestone in Dubai’s architectural achievements,” Guinness World Records officials said at the opening ceremony. Equipped with more than 3000 LED lights, the single-color fountain in Dubai will be open to visitors all year round. There are shows every half hour, from 19:00 to midnight, lasting 3 minutes.
