The largest library in the world is located in Dubai. The institution, which unites nine libraries, has more than 1,1 million printed and digital books in Arabic and foreign languages, and about 6 million scientific works. The library also has 75 videos, 000 historical magazines and 5 unique collections.

The building is partially solar powered. It also has a water recycling system that can reduce waste by up to 50 percent. Also, at the entrance to the library, robots guide visitors to their favorite books. Amir Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was involved in the creation of this huge project worth 260 million euros.
