The main requirements are:

- Candidate must have a certificate of English language proficiency (at least) IELTS 6.5 points or other equivalent international language certificate).

- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in order to be admitted to this university. Undergraduate students (those who have not yet graduated) can also apply. However, if they are accepted, they will start studying in the 1st year.

- Candidates must not be older than 23 years before the application deadline.

- Citizens of any country can apply. There are also no restrictions on ethnicity, gender or social origin.

Acceptance of documents is usually annually starting in October and in the first 10 days of November ends. Documents are submitted online.

Submission of documents is carried out in 2 stages. In the 1st stage Candidates will be asked to write several essays. Step 2 Those who have passed will be asked to submit another essay, recommendation, or grade. Stage 2 students also need to visit Deep Springs College, work with students for a while, and attend classes. Eventually, they will be interviewed, and those who successfully pass the interview will be admitted to the college.

For Phase 2 conditions, those who cannot afford to travel to the United States will be offered an interview or other alternative without going to the United States.

There is another important aspect of this university: it lasts only 2 years, and graduates of this university must continue their studies at another university in order to receive a bachelor's degree. Graduates of Deep Springs College went on to study for a bachelor's degree at Yale, Brown, Stanford, UC Berkeley, the University of Chicago, and other universities. Each student works at least 20 hours a week. In this process, students learn to look after a variety of pets (cattle, horses, etc.), drive and operate tractors, trucks, and similar field tillage machines, run a farm, and grow farm produce. The educational process at Deep Springs College is based on preparing students for practical life and self-management.
