How is the national certificate used for applicants?

❓ How is the national certificate of general education used? How many points are awarded for the national certificate?

✅ National certificate for applicants who have scored at least 60% of the highest score is provided. Applicants with a certificate are given the following points for admission to HEIs in the specialty subject:

🔹 from 60 percent to 86 percent - proportional score;

🔹 86 percent and above - the maximum score.

👨🏻‍💻 In this case, the applicant chooses whether to use the certificate for the specialty subject or not:

👉 if it is chosen to use - the applicant will not participate in the test of this subject and will be given the appropriate (maximum or proportional) score;

👉 if the use of the certificate is refused - the points on the certificate will not be taken into account and the applicant will participate in the test of this subject.

📌 Approving or denying the use of a certificate is only relevant for specialized subjects. This has no effect on compulsory science.

❇️ If the applicant has a certificate in one of the compulsory subjects, he will be given maximum points in this compulsory subject, regardless of the percentage in the certificate and whether he approved or rejected its use.
