June 7 is International Water Day

As usual, the campaign is held on the first Sunday of summer, but in 2009 this day fell on June 7, seven - not just a lucky number, but also the fact that the campaign is held so many times. International Water Day is a global event held annually in many countries under the PADI initiative. On this day, underwater swimming clubs organize excursions to local pools, where divers and their loved ones, as well as nature lovers, clean the beach and water from debris. Participating in the International Day for the Protection of Water Basins is a daily affair. During the campaign, a large amount of garbage will be collected and destroyed, and the bathing areas (beach) will be not only clean, but also safe for summer vacations. It should be noted that the International Day for the Cleaning of Water Basins solves important problems of society. For example, PADI is preparing an action campaign for the younger generation in the field of education for the younger generation. Before the event, children will listen to a lecture on environmental protection, and then participate in a cleanup event. In addition, an interesting program of diving was prepared for young participants of the action, various games, children's competitions on drawing on the asphalt were organized. The Aqualangist diving center has also come up with an interesting campaign: they are planning to clean up the meadows in Stroginsky, one of the most beautiful places in Moscow. This mass event is attended by many divers and “spectators who don’t know how to dive”. International Water Day is also a partnership for a common goal. Thus, PADI will hold a joint campaign with Coca-Cola Hellenic, a five-star diving center "Lokhmatiy kasha lot". Together, they clean the public baths of the Istra Reservoir, organize a field kitchen, and organize various cheerful contests. A trip to Indonesia lottery will be held on the International Day of Clean Water, prepared by the Sea Angel Dive Center. Only divers who have received certificates from PADI special courses from January 2009 to June 1, 1 will participate in this campaign.
