Theater and film actor Saib Khojayev was born in 1910 in the village of Khanabad, Kurgantepa district of Andijan region. He began his acting career in 1927 at the Kokand Theater with an episodic role in G. Zafari's play "Halima". S.Khojayev worked in the Andijan theater in 1928-1939. During his career at the school, he played the roles of Truffaldino (K. Gotssi, "Princess Turandot"), Soli the teacher (K. Yashin, "Comrades"), Bobchinsky (N. Arriving in Tashkent in 1939, he continued his work at the Uzbek State Musical Drama Theater named after Muqimi, where he worked until the end of his life. Soyib Khojayev has performed more than 1500 roles in various genres on the Uzbek theater stage. This role brought the actor great fame. The actor played the role of Toshbolta 1959 times on the stage of the Muqimi Theater. In 1964 and 1939, the Muqimi Theater troupe took part in a Kremlin theater show in Moscow. S.Khojayev's roles in the performances "Vatan ishqi", "Muqimiy", "Ravshan va Zulhumor", "Nurxon", "Toshbolta oshiq" were positively assessed by the audience and critics. Soyib Khodjayev also took an active part in the cinema and appeared in a number of bright and memorable films such as "Gift to the Motherland", "Adventures of Nasridsin", "Meet at the Stadium", "Yor-yor", "Dilbarim", "His name is Bahor" and others. created.
