Atokyai Uzbek actress and public figure Sora Eshonturayeva was born in 1911 in the village of Beshbulak, Yangikurgan district of Namangan region. From 1922 to 1925 he studied at the school named after Zebunniso in Tashkent. S.Eshonturayeva, who has been interested in theatrical art since her youth, has been participating in a circle led by Ali Ardobus since she was a student. After studying at the Moscow Drama Studio from 1925 to 1927, he diligently studied the secrets of performing arts from such masters of art as R. Simonov, V. Kansel, N. Basov, I. Tolchanov, L. Sverdlin. She began her career as an actress in the Uzbek State Drama Troupe (Hamza Uzbek State Drama Theater). Until the end of her life, S. Eshonturayeva worked in this team, and in 1943-1946 and 1953-1960 she was the director of the theater. Tursunoy (V.Yan, Cholpon, "Attack"), Beatrice (K.Goldoni, "One boy for two rich men") were the first images created by S.Eshonturayeva on the stage. For 1927 years, starting from 60, S. Eshontorayeva played the leading roles in the main performances staged at the Hamza Theater. Heroes such as Jamila ("Servant with the Rich", 1939), Guloyim ("Muqanna", 1942), Guli ("Alisher Navoi", 1945), Hürriyet ("Hürriyet", 1958) were exemplary for all Uzbek audiences. playing, came to the attention of the cultural community and found its place in theatrical art. Each of these immortal images created by the actress in the history of performing arts has its own place, one of which cannot be preferred to the other. But, in fairness, the images of Jamila and Guli have a special place in the artist's work. Because it was these images that first introduced S. Eshontorayeva to the world. In the actress's interpretation, Jamila rises to the level of a strong-willed independent person who can distinguish good from evil from a simple, pure-hearted girl and fight for her own happiness. In the image of Guli, he makes full use of the beauty of poetic language and skillfully reflects Guli's pure poetic heart, tender feelings, spiritual highness, devotion to his love. Not only these, but also the images of Ophelia (1935), Desdemona (1941), Honerilla and Catherine (1939) in A. Ostrovsky's "Thunder" in the tragedies "Hamlet", "Othello", "King Lear", the masterpieces of world classical drama. S.Eshonturayeva was the first to perform on the Uzbek stage. Ophelia in the actress's interpretation is a chaste, delicate girl who knows everyone as white-hearted and pure as she is. Desdemona's character, along with sophistication, has signs of determination and courage in the pursuit of its goal. Katerina is a simple, naive person, who at the same time fights for her freedom. In the 50s and 60s, the creative team of the Hamza Theater successfully staged works by several writers and playwrights, addressing the theme of the East. The leading roles were played by S. Eshonturayeva. Hatcha in Turkish writer Nazim Hikmat's poem "The Story of Turkey" (1953), Aini (1957) based on the novel "Algeria is my homeland" based on the novel by Arab writer Muhammad Dib, Sedzu (1965) in Japanese playwright Morimoto Kaoru's "Stolen Life" ), The role of Aisha, an Arab woman in Sazimov's "Drama of the Age", was also popular with the actress. S.Eshonturayeva has played leading roles in such feature films as "Boy ila khizmatchi", "Opa-singil Rakhmonovalar", "Sayyod bell" shot at the Uzbekfilm film studio. Based on a theatrical performance called Hamza, he created the image of Iokasta in the film-performance “King Oedipus”. She played the roles of Gulsum and Oltinoy in Oybek's TV series "Kutlug Kan" and Chingiz Aitmatov's "The First Teacher" and participated in many radio productions. He constantly and sincerely taught young actors the knowledge, skills and experience he had acquired over the years. He always followed them in the creative process, corrected their shortcomings and rejoiced in their achievements. S.Eshonturayeva together with her husband Abror Hidoyatov, a famous master of art of the XX century, created immortal images and raised children worthy of envy. With a gentle smile on his face, a polite, high-spirited artist, this great artist was also active in public affairs. S.Eshonturayeva's many years of fruitful work were awarded the honorary title of "People's Artist of Uzbekistan", the State Prize in 1949,1967, 1977 and XNUMX.
