All of these activities are gambling. In other words, every game where the winner gets something from the defeat is called gambling.

In Islam, gambling is strongly condemned and called a grave sin.

In verse 90 of Surat al-Ma'ida, God says: “O you who believe! Verily, wine, gambling, idols, and (fortune-telling) sticks are filthy. It is the work of Satan. So stay away from it. Perhaps you will be saved. " The Lord of the Worlds blessed gambling in this verse as "the work of filth and the devil."

It is in this verse that he equated practical sins such as drinking wine and gambling with the great spiritual crimes of blasphemy and polytheism, such as idolatry and fortune-telling. It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayra. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Whoever says to his master,' Come, I will gamble with you, 'let him give alms. "

Gambling is such a disgusting act that even if a person has not played yet, he becomes a sinner as soon as he offers to gamble. Therefore, the money he wanted to play for his atonement had to be donated. In our religion, people are commanded to earn money by honest work. It is haram to deceive, betray, and take possession of one's property through accusation. Gambling is about making money that way. The losing side in gambling never loves the winning side. In the middle there is enmity, hatred, strife. The losing party goes as far as possible to get their money back from the winning party, even to the point of killing the winner. So gambling causes animosity, hatred, and even murder among people. This in itself shows how tragic the dangers and harms of gambling to society are. The desire of people to earn money easily and quickly without working, without difficulty, motivates them to do such a disgusting thing - to gamble, to subscribe to gambling-oriented channels. A gambler will gradually lose everything. When the family is in disarray, the children are left homeless, causing their food to spoil. Whoever gambles and wins money must return the winnings to the owner immediately. If the owner dies, he gives it to his heirs.
