Farida Afroz (Butaeva Farida Kuzievna) was born on March 1956, 5 in the city of Kokand. He studied at the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute named after Muqimi (1977).

Teacher at the Fergana Art School, literary worker at the Avangard newspaper in Baghdad district, Fergana region, chairman of the Istedod creative youth association in Uchkuprik district, director of the Shuur creative enterprise under the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, Ministry of Justice's Life and Law »Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Legal Journal, Head of the Art Department at the Gafur Ghulam Publishing House of Literature and Art, Editor-in-Chief of the Writer Publishing House. Member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan since 1994.
