3. Up to 84% of medicines can be used for 5-25 years after expiration if stored in an unopened container.
4. The remaining 16% of drugs have a decrease in the active component by 50-70%, but the level of effectiveness is maintained.
5. Whenever possible, it is recommended that vital drugs, including nitroglycerin, insulin, liquid antibiotics, and pediatric medications, not be used overdue.
