How much did the Tokyo Olympics cost Japan?
The Tokyo Olympics were the most expensive Olympics. According to officials, the Games budget was $ 15,4 billion. On the other hand, Japanese government auditors claimed that the total cost exceeded $ 20 billion.
That's almost three times the $ 7,4 billion forecast when Tokyo received its bid for the Olympics.
