Peyronie's disease

Peyronie's disease is a fibroplastic induction of the penis. In 1743, the symptoms of this disease were first noted by the personal surgeon of King Louis XV of France, Peyronie.
The disease mainly affects men aged 30-50 years, during the period of erectile dysfunction, when sexual intercourse with a weakly erect penis, micro lesions appear on the protein membrane of the penis, and bleeding occurs instead of the wound. In the areas of blood transfusion, a period of scarring is observed gradually, in 1-1,5 years. Scars are called plaques, and the first signs of the disease appear when they are fully visible. Peyronie's disease is safe for life, but in 2/3 of cases it is accompanied by pain in the penis, and therefore in men there is a state of panic. Once again, the penis is tilted during an erection. The tilt can be up to 90 degrees. By this time, serious problems in sexual life will occur. If the disease is not treated in time, it can lead to impotence in patients.
In Uzbekistan, patients go to the doctor much later. This is due to the fact that there is almost no information about the disease in the Uzbek language, and patients are deeply depressed and ashamed to talk about it.

Nevertheless, the treatment of the disease is now very well established. Depending on the severity of the disease, there are conservative and operative treatments.
