The highest point of the Guiana plateau is Mount Roraima at 2810 m in Canaima National Park. Mount Roraima is the highest part of the so-called hill range. The mountain is located in the southeastern part of Canaima National Park, near the borders of Brazil and Guyana, in the territory of Venezuela. Roraima is a place of tropical savannas, cloud forests, hills, rivers and waterfalls. You can climb Mount Roraima at any time of the year, but many people prefer the dry season between December and April. However, the weather can change at any time. When it rains, the rivers overflow and can be difficult to cross.
