Mount Makalu, China/Nepal 🇨🇳🇳🇵

Its height is 8463 meters, it is the 5th highest place in the world. It is located 19 km southeast of the Himalayas on the border between Nepal and China. This mountain is the only mountain in the world with four sides like a pyramid. Makalu has 2 peaks which are Kangchungtse or Makalu II. The first US expedition climbed the mountain in 1954. When they reached 7100 meters from the south-east, they turned back due to a landslide. In 1954, the French conquered Kangchungtse. Makaluni was conquered by L. Terray on May 1955, 15.
