Dowry is a woman's right. How much and how much is paid?

Marriage is a sacred bond in a believer’s life. In this process, the groom's dowry for the bride is obligatory.

The dowry is given by the groom - not his parents. This means that he has family responsibilities. The minimum amount of dowry is equal to 4,25 grams of gold. That is 999 million 2 thousand soums on 609 samples. It should not fall below this value. And most have no limits: there can be unaccounted for property.

The dowry is divided into two according to the term of the dowry: muajjal, i.e. the dowry that is given expeditiously, and maajjal, i.e. the dowry that is given later. A portion of the agreed dowry may be given during the wedding, and the rest may be given at a later date. Especially now it is advisable to agree on this period in the presence of witnesses. Like other debts, the dowry remains with the man until his death.
