What is an engine piston?

A piston is a cylindrical component of an engine that converts the force generated by the explosion of the air+fuel mixture into mechanical energy and thus moves up and down inside the cylinder. It is an important part of starting the engine of cars, motorcycles, airplanes, helicopters!

There is also a connecting rod attached to the piston, which takes part in its up and down movement when the force that moves the piston is taken from the explosion. The connecting rod can be called a bridge that connects the crankshaft with the piston.

PS Pistons are mainly made of hard materials such as cast iron, aluminum alloy, steel
