🔴 Alimony cannot be collected, where to apply?
Question; I have not lived with my spouse for 2 years and my spouse has been ordered by a court order to pay alimony for the maintenance of my two minor children but for the past 6 months my spouse The alimony arrears have not been paid at all, and the state executor of the MIB has not collected alimony arrears. Where should I apply in this case?
Answer; Article 118 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan stipulates that the Procurator General of the Republic of Uzbekistan and prosecutors subordinate to him shall exercise control over the accurate and uniform implementation of laws in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition, according to Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Prosecutor's Office, the prosecutor's office governors and other officials are responsible for overseeing the implementation of laws.
✅ In case of untimely payment of alimony by the persons entitled to alimony, you can file a complaint to the prosecutor's office, and the MIB appropriate measures will be taken against the executor and the person paying alimony, and you will be provided with practical assistance in the recovery of alimony debt by the defendant.
