YOU ALSO HAVE TO APPLY FOR A PENSION.

⚡️ Question; I turned the retirement age on August 10 this year. In the meantime, my workload increased and I could not apply for a pension. Now, if I apply in November, the pension fund will tell you that you will receive a pension from this month. If I had reached retirement age in August, shouldn’t I have been assigned a pension from that August?

⚡️ Answer; According to Article 47 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On state pensions", the old-age pension - if the right to receive a pension is sought within sixty days from the date of its emergence. If so, it is appointed from the date of reaching retirement age. In all other cases, it is stated that the pension is awarded from the date of application.

✏️ To put it simply, if you apply to the Extrabudgetary Pension Fund within two months from the date of reaching retirement age, that is, from August 10 to October 10, you will receive the same. From August 10, a pension would be awarded. You will be awarded a pension from the day you apply because you missed that two-month period and then applied.

✏️ It doesn't matter if you retire at the age of sixty and apply for a pension when you turn 70, you will be entitled to a pension from the age of 70 and will not be able to receive your pension for the past.
