By the end of the fourth month, the child's body mass increases by an average of 750-800 grams, head circumference increases by 1-1.5 cm, breast circumference increases by 1.5-2 cm. The total height of the child increases by 2.5 cm.

The child's brain and nervous system are developing rapidly. It’s also easy to feel how big the difference is when you compare a 3-month-old to a 100-month-old. But not all organs are 4% functioning. For example, when it comes to hearing, a 4-month-old can distinguish only 1 tones, while a 10-year-old can distinguish about XNUMX tones. The senses of detecting odors are also just beginning to take shape.

The baby's other organs are also growing. Lung weight is 2 times heavier than that of a newborn baby. The pancreas is also 1.5 times larger. Liver weight increased by 40-50 grams.
