How much will you save by installing a water meter?
According to JSC "Uzsuvta'minot (https://uzsuv.uz/uz)" Payments for used water are made in 2 different ways. These are:
1. On the basis of tariff;
2. Through the counter.
When calculating on a tariff basis, an average of 250-300 liters of water per person per day. With a water meter, the calculation is only for the water consumed.
Approximately how much money will be saved:
Let's say there are 5 people living in a family, by definition, the average for 1 person is 3000-3500 soums, and it is 17 soums a month. With this you will pay 500 soums a year.
But through the meter, this family can use 7 meters of water a month. Depending on the region, the cost of 1 cubic meter of drinking water for the population ranges from 225 soums to 1240 soums. This is an average of 6000 soums a month and 72 soums a year.
• 200-000 = 72 soums
So you save 128000 soums a year.
