Urgench State University was established on the basis of the former Khorezm State Pedagogical Institute in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 1992, 28 No PF-356.
Urgench State University has 10 faculties, 34 departments, which train bachelors in 47 fields of study and masters in 21 specialties.
