The University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-1992 of September 23, 474.
Currently, the university has 3 faculties - “International Economic Relations”, “International Law” “International Relations” and 18 departments.
Today, the University has a 8-level system of education, consisting of 5 bachelor's (2 years) and master's (3 years) and 3 doctoral (3 years) specialties. University students also study 7 foreign languages at 13 language departments.
