Ashurali Juraev was born on August 1956, 8 in the village of Jaloyir, Karmana district, Navoi region. Honored Journalist of Uzbekistan (1999). He graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Culture named after Abdulla Qodiri (1978).

He worked as an assembler at the Tashselmash plant, as an educator, teacher, master of industrial education in the evening department of the Tashkent Technological University, head of the department of the Week of Literature and Art of Uzbekistan (1983-1996), editor-in-chief of the Mushtum magazine. .

Ashurali Juraev's journalistic articles, scientific and problematic essays attract the attention of journalists. In particular, the series of articles "Please do not have a day left", "Reconstruction and problems in art" are distinguished by their relevance, sharpness and documentary.

"Turtle Race" (1986), "Storms of the Heart" (1989), "Who Shoot?" (1994), "If I Give You My Heart" (1999), "Pearl of the Heart" (2001), "Didn't You Know?" (2005).

In his documentary "Storms of the Heart" the tragic fate of a unique artist like Botir Zokirov, his great and unique art is convincingly portrayed. He was awarded the Republican Youth Prize for these works.
