Reasons for the Crusades.

The rising Turks threatened the Byzantine Empire. Emperor Alexius asked Pope Urban II for help, and Urban II, seeing the way the Christian knights used their violent power, urged them to retake Jerusalem. Thousands responded, resulting in the First Crusades.

But this is not the only reason for the Crusades. One of the main reasons that motivated the Crusades was that Europe was in a period of tyranny and poverty. Hunger and poverty spread like a plague. At that time, science had reached a high level based on Islam in Asia. There were many blessings in Muslim countries, various sciences were highly developed. In particular, it was possible to witness this clearly in the Arab countries. As a result of greed, abundant food and good life, Christians sought Jerusalem and organized the Crusade.
