Symptoms of chickenpox in children

▪️Fever (37,5-38,5 °C)
Decreased appetite
▪️Headache
▪️General weakness (fast fatigue)
▪️Itching
▪️ Rash

The disease begins acutely, with fever and chickenpox rash. The rash is initially a small pink or red spot-papule, which after a few hours turns into a 5 mm diameter vesicle (a round or oval blister filled with clear fluid). By the end of the day, the rash dries up, loosens and turns into a brown mass (evolution of the rash in the picture). Pigment spots are kept for 2-3 months, no scar is formed.

Rashes spread to the child's face, hairy part of the head, body and limbs. Rashes do not occur simultaneously, but in spurts (after fever). For this reason, it is possible to see different stages of rash development (spot, papule, vesicle, crust) on the patient's skin at the same time. This condition is called false polymorphism.
