Symptoms of increased intracranial pressure (cranial pressure) in children

How does this disease manifest itself in young children? Unfortunately, babies cannot communicate their feelings to their parents, so parents have to rely on indirect symptoms of increased intracranial pressure.

These symptoms include:

Weakness;
Crying;
Poor sleep;
Return;
Seizures;
Involuntary movements of the eyes;
Swelling and pulsation of the mucous membrane;
An increase in the size of the head (hydrocephalus);
Muscle tone imbalance - one part of the muscles is tense, the other part is relaxed;
Bulging of the vascular network under the scalp.

❗️If the above signs are detected, the child needs to be examined by a neuropathologist.
