Urinary incontinence

In young children, this is called Enuresis, and urinary incontinence is observed mainly at night.

• to call this disease, the child must be 6 years old. This is because the nerves that signal the presence of urine develop in the bladder wall and the nervous system at age 6.

If your child is not able to urinate even after the age of 6, it means that the development of those nerves is delayed for various reasons.

The remedy

• urinal alarms, that is, getting the child used to peeing at a certain time at night.

• drink as little water as possible before going to bed

• protection from stress (mostly, the child becomes like this due to parental quarrels.

• Desmopressin and tricyclic antidepressants have been effective in recent years. Do not self-medicate. Let the doctor order. Desmopressin is available in nasal or tablet form. But it is not cheap, between 200-300

• ensure that the child's underwear is neat and loose

• the sleeping place should be comfortable.

• do not embarrass, hit or stress him if he urinates. It can stay that way forever
