Helping young children with fever
"The child has a temperature" is often understood as a fever - a condition in which the body temperature is higher than 37,2 °C.
How to cool down a child:
• Ibuprofen suppository or syrup
• Paracetamol suppository or syrup
• Sefekon suppository
• Panadol suppository
• Diclofenac suppository
• Antibiotics in syrup form
• Give a warm drink
• Humidify the room air
What not to do when you have a fever:
• Do not wrap the child
• Do not place the heater near the child
• Do not wipe the child with vinegar and vodka
• Do not force the child to sleep
• Do not bathe your feet
• Do not inhale hot steam
• Do not put mustard
Aspirin and analgin should not be given to children: they can cause serious side effects
