🔘 Gulbahor Tajiyeva:

✍️ Doctor Hilola Jumayeva:

✅ Hematoma is a soft tissue injury, in which there is a rupture of blood vessels. The hematoma is caused by compression of the baby's head during childbirth due to the size of the fetus or the smallness of the mother's pelvic bones, malposition of the fetus, hypoxia, that is, the baby is wrapped around the core.

🔹 Hematomas appear in the first hours after the birth of the baby and increase in size on the 2nd-3rd day. It usually decreases in size in 8-10 weeks and returns. However, monitoring of hematomas is recommended.

If the size of the hematoma continues to increase and bleeding is observed, a pediatrician should be consulted. In this case, the necessary analyzes are carried out by the doctor.

❗️ Hematomas should not be treated independently at home without a doctor.
